Katamari Mirror's Edge. You're nanomachines running away.

3D platformer/puzzle with action elements.

Mechanics/Systems

individual gameplay mechanics and mechanics categorized by system

Eat object/level as you go through level. Expand to larger levels like Katamari.

Enabling one mechanic disables another by using its nanos.

When you split into groups, non-main groups deteriorate.
Things can make your nanos go into crazy locust modo.

Build things from nanomachines. It’s automatic and scripted at certain points (ie missing gear in bridge, nanos automatically start building it).
Manipulate the environment (climbing, making bridges)
