narrative elements concerning plot, characters, world

Stupid dog! - Get the dog to do complicate tasks, teach it complicated tactical manoeuvres; but the dog doesn’t get it: “It’s a dog!”

Find/meet the girl - Girl is moving to another city and the dog was left behind; Dog goes on a journey to find the girl; 8 warrior spirits decide to reunite Dog with the girl. Superman rescuing a cat from a tree, doing boring simple tasks. “We, the greatest warriors in history, will help you with your trivial task and reunite you with the girl”

Baby escort missions – Bring the girl back to some location (her family?). Explore and find a safe place, then bring the girl there. Metroid levels: exploration, combat, puzzles

1920s – Mafia, smuggling, immigration. Owner died on the journey, the dog is alone. Ship lands, girl’s family just arrived in the new land and lost the baby at the docks. Dog sees girl and finds her family. Starts with owner: “I am thirsty”, dog gets water and learns to feed; “I want to see the sky”, dog learns to carry people. Then owner dies, dog uses these skills to take care of the baby (feed/carry).
