Overview
Unity 3D is an easy to use game engine that is excellent for rapidly prototyping game concepts and developing full commercial games.
In this tutorial I will walk you through making the Simple Maze game from scratch in probably less than an hour. I will start by going over the user interface and then we will dive right into making the game. If there is time I will show off a couple other prototypes and discuss some key ideas behind checking winning/losing conditions and implementing a level selection screen.
This lesson is geared towards people with absolutely zero programming or game development experience. If you do have game development experience but not with Unity, you will discover how Unity can help you rapidly prototype games.
Event Details
Date and time are being worked out. We are trying to get a room that already has Unity installed.
