Clubs Days
Every semester we host a table at clubs days and we try to make an appearance at both Surrey and Burnaby campuses. If you have an hour or two to spare during the event days, we are very appreciative of the help. Emails are sent about clubs days at the start of every semester, or you can contact the club president directly.
Weekly Meetings
If you are interested in helping to run weekly meetings at Surrey or Burnaby campus, please contact the vice president for that particular campus.
End of Semester Events
We host at least one of either a board game or video game jam at the end of each semester. If you are interested in being involved in planning these events or have suggestions for other end-of-semester events, please contact the club president. We are always looking for new ideas.
Tutorials and Talks
We encourage club members to suggest ideas for tutorial and talks. The GDC is made up of students from many backgrounds which leads to a valuable knowledge base. If you have knowledge you would like to share, we are always listening and willing to organize an event around your passion or skill.
Other Events
The club is open to suggestions for special events at any point during the semester. This can be anything from playing boardgames to going to the pub. We also appreciate help from club members who are willing to take on an organizational role or help out at the suggested event.
